Your story is a great reminder to meet our children where they're at (and recognize their emotions) but to also stay firm with the building blocks that the whole family will need to function (aka routine or a schedule). I have a baby so things are pretty easy so far. I enjoy learning from parents with older children so I know what to look forward to.
